Laurel Springs Lodge Bed & Breakfast Is Closed

It is with mixed emotions that we wanted to inform you that we have sold Laurel Springs Lodge Bed and Breakfast.  The property will no longer be operating as a B&B as the new owners will be converting the property into a 6-bedroom, 6 bathroom overnight rental cabin.  How fun would it be to rent the place you have come to love through the years and bring the entire family or friends along for a getaway!  The new rental website is, and I believe the new name will be Hill Street Hideaway.

We want to express our gratitude to each of you for choosing to spend your vacations with us as you spent time in Gatlinburg and the Great Smokey Mountains.  It was a pleasure to host so many wonderful guests from all over the world over the past 13 years, we feel blessed and humbled by your generosity and kindness, it has been an amazing experience and dream come true for us.

We would love to refer you to one of the other B&B’s in the Smoky Mountain area.  The website for the Smoky Mountain B&B Association is  There you will find the B&B’s in our surrounding area, we hope you will continue to enjoy the Smokey Mountain B&B experience.

After a short summer stay in Michigan to see family, we will be finding our way to the East Coast of Florida where we hope to retire but keep busy.  We are hoping to have a small rental property that we will be renting though Airbnb at some point.   If you would like to follow along for updates, I will be converting the Laurel Springs Lodge Facebook page to our rental property page, it will be active but not much on it until we acquire a property.  Maybe we can meet up again in FL some time in the near future.

Wishing you all happy vacations!
Blessings, Dan and Karen
